Tea sandwiches are one of my favorite foods, and it's a shame to think they're only for tea parties and other events that require floppy hats.
My go-to tea sandwich is cucumber and cream cheese on white bread (with the crusts cut off, natch). I'd include a recipe, but it's just two slices of white bread, cream cheese, and sliced cucumbers assembled into a sandwich. Easy peasy.
The sandwiches are just so cute and delicious. Sometimes, at work, I'll make a cup of tea and have tea sandwiches for lunch. It's what I imagine Kate Middleton would do if she worked in a cubicle.
