sometimes fancy

I've always liked fancy things.  Tea parties, etiquette, monogrammed stationery, sparkling Italian mineral water -- if it's fancy, I probably like it.

However, that doesn't mean I'm fancy.  I wear jeans, a cardigan, and flats to work almost every day.  My freezer is full of Lean Cuisines.   I have an iPhone 3Gs.  In fact, you could say I'm exceptionally un-fancy.

But every once in a while, I like to sprinkle a little fanciness into my life -- and that's where this blog comes in.  (For the record, sprinkles are pretty fancy.)  This is a blog for those of us who don't like to be fancy all of the time, just some of the time.  We're sometimes fancy.
